Exynos 9811 VS Qualcomm SD 730G VS Helio G90T - Which one is better?

Samsung launched its M series for the online market and their A series is for the offline market with some of their smartphones with their new processor which is Exynos 9611.

VS

But what about its performance in the premium level smartphone segment of samsung. I personally think that Samsung should give the snapdragon 800 series in their premium level smartphones in between 20K to 30K. Because most of the other brands are giving at this price point a far better processor like the Redmi K20 pro.

Is Exynos 9611 better than the Snapdragon 730G and Mediatek G90T?

Here in this article we are going to clear all the doubts about all these 3 processors. Let's compare these processors. Are they better performers and best processors for gaming purposes?

Samsung Galaxy M30s and M31 were the first 2 smartphones launched with their new chipset Exynos 9611.

These two smartphones are the direct competitors of the Realme 5 pro and Redmi note 8 pro smartphones available in the market under 20 thousand rupees.

So lets see the in depth review of these processors: Exynos 9611 VS G90T VS Snapdragon 730G.

Let's talk about hardware and Performance

Architecture of Exynos 9611 VS Snapdragon 730G VS Helio G90T

The Exynos 9611 chipset of Samsung comes with an octa core setup from which 4 Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 2.3 GHz and the rest of the 4 Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 1.7 Ghz.

Whereas the Mediatek Helio G90T chipset comes with an octa core setup with 2 Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.05 GHz and the other 6 Cortex A55 cores are clocked at 2.0 GHz. The six cores of the processor are efficiency cores and the rest of the 2 A76 cores are performance cores.

On the other hand the Snapdragon 730G chipset comes with customized versions of the cortex-A75 and A55 cores. It is also an octa core processor where two Kryo 460 Gold(Cortex A75) are clocked at 2.3 GHz and the rest of the 6 Kryo 360 silver(Cortex A55) cores are clocked at 1.7 GHz.

So this was the architectural information about all these processors.

GPU Comparison

The Exynos 9611 by Samsung comes with Mali-G72 GPU which is built on the 2nd generation of Bofrost architecture to boost up the graphics and heavy tasks.

While the Snapdragon has the latest Adreno 618 GPU and Mediatek's Helio G90T has the Arm Mali-G76 GPU with their hyper engine gaming technology. Mediatek claims that their hyper engine gaming technology provides the best gaming performance. But in real life Adreno performs better and consumes low power than other two GPUs.

The Exynos 9611 chipset is built on 10Nm technology, the Snapdragon 730G is also built on 10Nm technology but the Mediatek Helio G90T is fabricated on 12Nm technology. This difference seems to be nothing in numbers but in the performance and in the Chipset world it is a big number for a processor.

More the length less power efficient will be the processor simple math is there. It means that the Helio G90T is a less powerful processor than the Snapdragon 730G and the Exynos 9611 chipset.

All the processors Snapdragon 730G, Exynos 9611 and Helio G90T supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.

Camera Comparison

The Exynos 9611 supports dual camera setup with a 16+16Mp or a single camera setup of 64Mp, while the Snapdragon supports upto 192Mp single camera setup and 16+16 Mp of dual camera setup which is an advantage of Snapdragon over the exynos 9611 processor in terms of single camera setup.

Whereas the Helio G90T supports a single camera setup of 64Mp and dual camera setup of 24 + 16Mp.

All the processors Snapdragon 730G, Exynos 9611 and Helio G90T are capable of shooting videos in 4K but the Samsung Exynos 9611 shipset is capable of recording slow motion videos at 480 fps which is a better thing.

Display Comparison

In the display department the Snapdragon gets leads from the two because it supports a resolution of 1440 x 3360 QHD+ pixels. While on the other hand the G90T and Exynos 9611 supports resolution only upto FHD+.

The Exynos 9611 supports upto 1600 x 2560 pixels and G90T supports upto 2520 x 1080 pixels.

So which one is the Better processor?

If you are looking for a gamecentral processor then Snapdragon 730G is the best processor from all of these.

And if you want a balanced phone with more than decent performance and efficiency then the G90T is the best processor for you. The Exynos 9611 is also a competitive processor with Snapdragon 730G but the performance can be seen a slightly lower of exynos.

The final verdict about the processors is that Snapdragon 730G and Exynos 9611 are almost the same processors with very good performance. You can play high end games like PUBG, Call of duty apex legends etc on all these 3 processors but the performance will be the best on 730G and Exynos 9611. Helio G90T is not a bad processor but it is less efficient than those two in power consumption.

But one thing about Samsung I hate most is why they are giving the same processor in their smartphones above 20 thousand and the same one in their mid range phones. At Least they should give snapdragon 845 in their high end phones which are above 20K and below 30K.

If I'm buying a smartphone which is approx 25K INR what should I expect that at least I got the snapdragon 800 series processor. Because some of the companies are giving it within 22K INR or even at a lesser price.
